Sofra offers a vibrant selection of dishes, from an assortment of kebabs such as the Mixed Grill featuring adana, shish, kofta, chicken, and lamb chops, to savory sandwiches like the Chicken Shawarma and the classic Gyro Sandwich. With prices ranging from $9.99 for the sandwiches to $24.49 for the Mixed Grill, there’s something to tantalize every palate.
What strikes you the most about Sofra is the genuine hospitality. The Turkish Coffee and rich desserts—especially the rice pudding—are always a hit, transforming an ordinary meal into an exquisite culinary experience.
The restaurant’s commitment to quality is evident in the freshness of the ingredients and the authenticity of the recipes. Reviewers have noted that even the simplest dishes, like the hummus served with fresh bread, shine due to expert seasoning and technique.
However, while the food captivates, some guests feel that the service could be quicker, mentioning that water refills take time. Despite this, most agree that the phenomenal food overshadows any minor inconveniences.

“ I have been meaning to try this place out for a few months and finally got the chance today. I was not disappointed. Stopped in for lunch and was meeting my sister and her family. I got there before them and had to wait about fifteen minutes for them to arrive. The staff made me feel extremely welcome and offered me a cup of Turkish tea and a baked good while I waited. So thoughtful and gracious - something you rarely experience. We had never tried Turkish cuisine so we decided to play it safe and order dishes we were familiar with from other Mediterranean items we have had that were similar. Not only were they fantastic but we all agreed we will be back soon to explore the menu in depth. This was a five out of five experience and I highly recommend. Staff are amazing food is phenomenal and the ambiance is pleasant. Oh... don't forget to grab one of the desserts on the way out -delicious. Do not pass this place by! ”
“ Growing up in the Middle East, I am very picky about by Middle Eastern food. That being said, we decided to try out Sofra. We tried a variety of kebabs I was familiar with. The variety of kebabs were made well, seasoned well, and not dry. The Pides were just as I remember them tasting when I was a child, so I was fond of them too. The restaurant was clean, large, but it seemed empty. Maybe they need more tables or some type of cozy feel. Either way, my wife and I loved this place and cant wait to come back. Oh, and if you arent familiar with Turkish or Arabic food, Sofra has a pretty awesome website, where they clearly show what each food item looks like, describes it accurately, and their prices are listed too. ”
“ Yummy yummy so delicious! Everything was so fresh and tasty. We started with the hummus and bread so so tasty! We also split the chicken and shish kabob with rice both again were very good! For dessert I tried the rice pudding and we also tried the tiramasu again delicious! There is a ton of seating here and to be honest the service wasn't great. Needed to ask for almost everything ourselves and they really need to turn some of the lights either down or off because it's absurdly bright inside. That said the food overshadows all of it and I'll be back 100 percent for sure! ”
“ 3 of us enjoyed dinner here, the other 2 had never been before. We weren't very creative in our ordering in that all of us ordered the combination platter. It was delicious, as before. We started off with an order of baba ganoush, accompanied by fresh bread. Finished up by ordering and sharing 3 desserts. The favorite was one I hadn't seen before: a citrus/dark chocolate "pudding". Also enjoyed another pudding-type dessert, with pistachio bits throughout and on top. The last one was a bar of sorts, chocolate and ??. Service was friendly, water could have been refilled more quickly, but that's minor. The restaurant is large, tables well spaced, numerous booths. Not an intimate space, but perfect for lingering (we were there almost 3 hours!), conversation, trying new foods. ”
“ Good service. Food was delicious. Had the doner kebab. The meat came on rice with a side of lettuce tomato onion and purple cabbage. Also came with bread I'm not normally a bread person but this bread was great. They have a large bakery case as well with cookies, cakes, baklava and other items. ”
“ Yum! Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Sofra including 1 piece of lahmacun as an appetizer (which was large and could be shared by at least 2 people), and the (vegetarian) mushroom pide, which when I added the crushed red pepper on the table to it, took it from good to amazing! I got three bite size desserts to take home which were also good, but I think next time I'll opt to try to delicious cakes. Service was also great! Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and our waiter was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come here again! ”
“ Another great meal at Sofra! The husband/ wife that run this place are welcoming, warm and attentive. The food they make and serve is utterly delicious, mouth watering and delectable! We ordered what we saw sunshine ends ordering because we didn't know what to decide on... it was all wonderful to the palate ”
“ I really enjoyed this restaurant for several reasons. The dessert case is delightful! The food is good. The young couple who own it are such hard workers. The restaurant is a large space and it was filled with lots of happy families when we were there. I ordered what is called a Mushroom Pide. It's a thick dough that is filled with a variety of vegetables. It was good, not necessarily mushroom but it was still good. Everyone else order mixed kebab dinners which they all thought were delicious. The menu is extensive so there should be something for everyone. I love a good dessert case and theirs spoke directly to me. I could easily go just for that and every single thing I got from it ( which was a lot) was delicious. I strongly recommend that you get something from that case!! ”
“ I have been meaning to check this spot out for awhile since they opened a few months ago. I live nearby so it would be great to add a new spot to my usual selection of places close to home when I don't feel like cooking. I am happy that I finally checked it out! We went over for lunch and it blew away my expectations. First of all, you would never know how big the inside is until you go in. It's HUGE! There are some booths and other tables available with a huge case for their bakery products too. Being new to Turkish food, I was a little lost when I opened the menu. The owner was working and came over to help us navigate what would be good for lunch and explain what some of the menu entailed. We ended up getting some pides. Both of them were huge portions. We ended up splitting some of each which is the best way to try new food. The mixed meat pide was delicious. It reminded me of a pizza or calzone with the meat and cheese on the bread. I would definitely get that again. The desserts were incredible in the case. There were cookies, cakes, puddings, tiramisus, you name it. I opted for the carrot cake which was very good! The cake was moist and the cream cheese frosting in between the layers was phenomenal. RUN, don't walk and try this new spot out. It has everything you could want in a restaurant and if you're new to this kind of cuisine, they will help you find something you will love. I will definitely be back! ”
